Emergency crews are at the scene of a house fire just south of Great Falls.
The fire is at a house on the 900 block of Franklin Avenue, just east of Lower River Road, several miles south of city limits.
Several fire departments have been called to the scene, including mutual aid from Great Falls Fire Rescue and Malmstrom Air Force Base, and utility crews have also been asked to respond.
The fire was reported at about 9:40 a.m. on Thursday.
There is no indication at this point of any injuries, and no word yet on the cause.
The Salvation Army has sent its "Sally One" food truck to provide refreshments to the firefighters.
Great Falls Fire Rescue posted on Facebook at 11:37 am: "D-Platoon on a working house fire near Franklin Avenue. Please stay clear of the area to allow for GFFR and CCSO to work the scene."
