A woman was seen being placed into a GFPD patrol car.
The scene has been cleared.
The GFPD has declined to release any information about the incident at this point, including the name of the person in custody or what sparked the incident.

(UPDATE, 7:40 p.m.) The alley between 3rd Avenue South and 4th Avenue South is blocked from 9th Street to 10th Street.
(1st Report, 7:03 pm) We have received reports of a large police presence near 9th Street South and 3rd Avenue.
We have also received reports that some of the officers have their weapons drawn, and that officers have blocked traffic in the area.
Several people have come out of a house at the request of the officers.
We have also received one unconfirmed report that a person inside the residence may be armed.
At this point, the GFPD has not released any information about the incident.
