If you like pizza and helping a great cause, then make your way to MacKenzie River Pizza on Tuesday night.

The annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser returns to Great Falls to raise money for Special Olympics Montana.

Local law enforcement officers will volunteer their time as “Celebrity Servers” and collect tips along with Special Olympics athletes from 11 a.m. until close.

Trooper Jim Humiston of the Montana Highway Patrol said serving up slices is a privilege for all of the officers involved.

“I would say one of the greatest things I do for the Montana Highway Patrol is to be involved with the Special Olympics. It’s great,” he said.

Special Olympics athlete Jamie Darko invited everyone to come on down and have some pizza.

Last year the event raised over $3,800 dollars. For every special “Guardian Pizza” sold, MacKenzie River will donate an extra $2.

MacKenzie River Pizza is located at 500 River Drive South.
