If you were out and about in downtown Great Falls on Friday, you may have noticed a small park that temporarily took over a few parking spots.
It was the sixth annual “PARK(ing) Day” sponsored by the Great Falls Business Improvement District.
The installation was set up in two parking spots on the 300 block of Central Avenue.
The day is designed to create an interesting public space in the downtown area.
It also calls attention to what organizers say is a need more open, public, green space downtown.
Tilleraas Landscape & Nursery helped design the Fall-inspired space.
Today’s event was originally scheduled to happen two weeks ago, but was postponed due to inclement weather at the time.
