Ashley Wilkinson plans to open Fetch in Great Falls soon.

The location will be in the building that once housed an auto parts store on the west side, next to Albertsons grocery store.

Wilkinson, a former attorney, decided recently that it was time to follow her dream and share her love of dogs, and says now that she has found the right location, it’s time to make it happen.

The CMR High School grad is is a “mom” to three dogs, and has trained dogs and competed in agility trials for years.

She says that Fetch will feature obedience and agility classes, daycare, and grooming, along with some “bathe your own dog” stalls.

Fetch will also have 20 luxury boarding kennels, along with a large retail space for dog and cat food (dry and raw), toys, treats, and apparel.

Wilkinson said that there will also be a section reserved for human apparel designed for dog “parents,” such as shirts and caps.

The renovation of the building will include a “facelift” for the exterior, and she plans to open some time in the Fall.

Once the facility is open, Wilkinson says she expects to have about 15 employees.

The building has been empty for several years, except during recent Septembers and Octobers, when it served as the temporary location for a Halloween costume and decor store.
