Kasey joined the MTN News team in January 2018.
She moved across the country from Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania and is a proud graduate of the meteorology program at Penn State University. We Are!
During college, she was involved with Campus Weather Service and Up In The Air – a student run show broadcast on local television.
For as long as she can remember she was interested in the weather and would spend a lot of time watching continuous coverage of the weather. She is excited to teach you and keep you updated on all things weather!
She was inspired to become a meteorologist from her middle school science teacher who is also a meteorologist, Mr. Donahue.
In her spare time she likes to read new books, watch television shows, and check out restaurants around the area. Send any suggestions her way!
