The ninth annual “Piano Jack” Myllymaki Memorial Jam Session will be held at the Harvest Moon Saloon in Belt on Sunday, October 21, at 2 p.m.

Jack Earl “Piano Jack” Myllymaki died at the age of 57 in 2008.

Event organizer Jenny Albert said: “Everyone is welcome to come play music, sing, dance, or just watch as we celebrate Piano Jack who left a hole in our hearts, and our ears begging for more on July 29th 2008.

Join us for some great music, 50/50 drawing, and silent auction. All funds raised are donated to the Belt School Music Program in the name of the Myllymaki Music Fund. If you are unable to attend, donations can be made directly to the Myllymaki Music Fund account at Belt Valley Bank.”

Albert says that all local and regional musicians, fans of Piano Jack Myllymaki, fans of music, friends, and newcomers are invited.
