Sandy Corey with Teton Antique Steam and Gas Threshing Association stopped by KRTV to talk about the 35th annual Threshing Bee, which takes place Saturday, September 15-Sunday, September 16 in Choteau, two blocks south of City Park.

Corey says the day celebrates harvest time for the area with events taking place over both days including music from the Montana State Fiddlers on Saturday afternoon, Dutch Oven Super, Tractor Games and Threshing at 1:00 each day.

Admission is $8 for both days and $25 for the family. Grounds will be open from 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

There will be chances to see the area’s one room schoolhouse, steam engines, blacksmithing and a Sunday Service at the Old Church, which begins at 9:00.

For more information, call Dave Klette at 406-450-1803 or Rick Corey at 406-466-5409, or by email at rcorey@3rivers.net.
